South Sydney strengthened their push for a top-four finish with a convincing 12-32 NRL win over Parramatta in difficult wet-weather conditions at CommBank Stadium.
The Rabbitohs raced to an early 12-0 advantage before Parramatta controlled much of the remainder of the first half, only to be repeatedly denied by determined goal-line defence and managing a single try.
The Eels levelled the scores at 12-12 shortly after the break, but South Sydney responded emphatically, capitalising on their chances and snaring two intercept tries to dominate the closing stages and seal a comfortable 20-point victory.
