Ryan Fox claims first PGA Tour win with playoff birdie at Myrtle Beach Classic

Kiwi Ryan Fox secured his maiden PGA Tour victory by winning the Myrtle Beach Classic in a dramatic playoff.

Fox, who began the final round three shots behind, shot a flawless 66 to join Canadian MacKenzie Hughes and American Harry Higgs at 15-under.

On the playoff hole, Fox chipped in from just off the green to birdie, while his rivals missed their chances.

The win nets Fox NZ$1.2 million, grants a two-year PGA Tour exemption, and secures his spot in this week’s PGA Championship. After a challenging start to 2025, Fox called the win a turning point in his career.
