Sea Eagles crush Cowboys to extend winning run

Manly Warringah delivered a dominant 6-38 victory over North Queensland in Townsville, extending their winning streak to three and maintaining a perfect record at the venue.

The visitors led 22-6 at halftime and shut the Cowboys out in the second half, piling on further points through disciplined attack and strong defence.

Lehi Hopoate starred with two early tries, while Tolu Koula impressed after shifting to fullback following Tom Trbojevic’s early injury, making several crucial defensive plays.

Manly controlled the tempo through Jamal Fogarty’s kicking game and capitalised on Cowboys’ errors, with further tries to Taniela Paseka and Luke Brooks sealing the result.

The win also preserves Kieran Foran’s unbeaten start as interim coach and continues Manly’s strong record in Townsville.
