Ten-man Everton stun Manchester United at Old Trafford

Everton pulled off a remarkable 0-1 victory at Old Trafford despite Idrissa Gueye being sent off after just 13 minutes for striking teammate Michael Keane in a heated clash that required goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to intervene.

The visitors, who also lost captain Seamus Coleman to injury early on, shocked Manchester United when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall curled in a superb first-half goal, and then held firm under relentless pressure to become the first away side to win a Premier League match at Old Trafford after having a player dismissed.

Former United manager David Moyes celebrated his first Premier League win at the stadium as an opposition boss, while Ruben Amorim’s United saw their five-match unbeaten run end amid boos from frustrated home fans who watched their side miss a chance to move into the Champions League places.
