Chanel Harris-Tavita will remain with New Zealand Warriors until at least the end of the 2027 NRL season after agreeing to a fresh one-year contract extension.
The 27-year-old playmaker has become a key figure for the Warriors since returning to the club in 2024, cementing himself as the side’s first-choice five-eighth and producing some of the strongest football of his career.
Club officials praised his consistency, competitiveness and defensive effort, while noting the major impact he continues to have on the squad both on and off the field.
Harris-Tavita, who debuted for the Warriors in 2019 before briefly stepping away from rugby league in 2023, recently celebrated his 100th NRL appearance and has significantly increased his attacking output during his second stint with the club.
