The driver of the white Toyota Hilux being sought following a ‘near-miss’ near Titri has been identified.
Police are speaking with the driver, who came forward to them.
At around 6:50am on Wednesday 6 July, an unidentified white Toyota Hilux was travelling north on SH1 when it overtook a logging truck into an oncoming courier van.
The driver of the southbound courier van had to take evasive action, swerving off the road, rolling and then ending up on the opposite side of the road.
The driver of the van sustained minor injuries and is understandably shaken by this incident.
The incident was captured on footage by the logging truck.
