US man Bradley Robert Dawson is charged with murdering his wife pharmacist Christe Chen while on honeymoon at Fiji’s exclusive Turtle Island Resort.
Dawson is currently in custody awaiting his next court hearing. He is yet to enter a plea.
The newlyweds arrived in Fiji on 7 July after marrying in Tennessee in February.
They could be heard arguing the following night. Dawson left at kayaked to a neighbouring island, leaving his phone and GPS behind. Staff discovered Chen’s body the next day. According to witnesses she was found with ‘multiple blunt trauma injuries to her head.’
Her body was in such a bad state her parents, who arrived a few days after the tragedy, had to cremate her body.
Kristen Baker, an ex-girlfriend of Dawson’s told Good Morning America that Dawson was ‘violent’, ‘volatile’ and ‘manipulative’.
