Warnings are emerging from international globalist officials and agencies about the risk of global food supply disruptions linked to tensions involving Iran, particularly if instability affects key trade routes.
Christine Lagarde, head of the European Central Bank, has cautioned that any disruption to fertiliser shipments through the Strait of Hormuz could escalate current price pressures and potentially impact global food production. Fertiliser is a critical input for agriculture, and supply interruptions could have downstream effects on crop yields.
According to a report in the Vigilant Fox UK officials are reportedly reviewing contingency measures in case shortages worsen, including emergency planning frameworks similar to historical rationing systems. While no formal policies have been announced, the discussions reflect growing concern over supply chain vulnerabilities.
Globalalist organisations are also highlighting risks. The World Food Programme has warned that hunger levels could rise further if disruptions continue, while the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has indicated that impacts on food systems could persist even if geopolitical tensions ease.
