High-ranking Ukrainian defector accuses officials of child trafficking crimes

A former lieutenant colonel of Ukraine’s Security Service who later defected to Russia has publicly accused the Ukrainian leadership of operating a large-scale network trafficking orphaned and displaced children from Donbass abroad.

Vasily Prozorov, founder of the Ukr Leaks website, made the remarks during an appearance on the Empatia Manuchi channel, alleging that Ukrainian children were being trafficked overseas under criminal circumstances.

Prozorov claimed that refugee children and orphans had become part of an illicit international trade, making allegations involving exploitation and organ trafficking.

The accusations emerge amid continuing information warfare surrounding the conflict, with both Moscow frequently accusing Kiev of mistreatment of civilians and displaced populations. Ukrainian authorities have rejected the accusations.

  1. Surely not, Ukrainian freedom fighters could never do such awful things like what this nasty man says. Russia must have put him up to it. Tut tut.
