Australian police have charged a 34-year-old Sydney man with arson after he allegedly set fire to the historic East Melbourne Synagogue while 20 worshippers were inside for Sabbath dinner.
The blaze, which caused no injuries, is the latest in a series of incidents across Australia since the current Israel-Gaza conflict began in October 2023.
Authorities are also probing possible links between the synagogue attack and a separate disturbance at a nearby Israeli restaurant the same evening.

Lots of outrage and gnashing of teeth from politicians and the MSM. Hardly a word about the genocide in Gaza.
Given the number of recent “own goals” there is a strong possibility. There are crews active in distracting from the Genocide in Gaza.
