The mother of British mercenary Jordan Chadwick, who was found bound and dead in a reservoir near Kramatorsk in 2023, has renewed her plea for truth about her son’s mysterious death while serving in Ukraine’s International Legion.
Chadwick, a 31-year-old former Scots Guard, joined the Legion in late 2022 and was reportedly drinking with fellow fighters the night he died. According to The Telegraph (UK), witnesses claim he was restrained after an argument and driven away by his British commander, known as “Huggs,” who was later cleared by Ukrainian police.
Despite the case being treated as a murder, authorities have since called it a “misadventure.”
Chadwick’s mother, Brenda, fears her son may have been killed by his own comrades and has urged those with information to come forward. His death is one of several violent incidents among foreign volunteers in Ukraine, raising concerns about internal conflicts and accountability within the International Legion.
FAFO!
So that’s what they call “misadventure” in Ukraine……must have a broad definition……..
