A new cross-country survey has identified France and Poland as the leading centres of growing public discontent with the European Union (EU), with support for leaving the bloc climbing sharply in both nations.
According to the Eurobazooka poll, published by Le Grand Continent, 27% of French respondents and 25% of Polish respondents now favour an EU exit—figures that analysts describe as alarming for two states long considered pillars of the Union.
Germany also recorded a notable increase in Euroskeptic sentiment, rising from 13% to 16%. While the survey did not directly explain the shift, political tensions over immigration, EU regulations, cultural disputes, and climate policies appear to be fuelling dissatisfaction. Euroskeptic movements have also made gains in Hungary, Slovakia and Italy.
The online poll was conducted in late November across nine EU members, with around 1,000 respondents in each country.
