The Britain First party held its ‘March for Remigration’ in Manchester on Saturday.
Six people were arrested on Saturday in Manchester, northwestern England, after anti-immigration demonstrators clashed with counterprotesters, police said.
Thousands of people attended the ‘March for Remigration’ organized by Britain First, a right-wing party demanding the mass deportation of illegal migrants. Many participants carried British and English flags.
Counterprotesters from groups including Stand Up to Racism Manchester and the Resist Britain First coalition also gathered in the streets to denounce immigration hardliners.

Scuffles and fistfights broke out between the rivaling groups, with Britain First supporters accusing their opponents of attempting to block the streets. Police intervened to break up the brawls.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said six people were arrested for public disorder and breach of the peace. The offenses included assaulting an emergency worker and breaching a dispersal notice.
Multiple protests have been held across the UK in recent years in response to the housing of asylum seekers in hotels and high-profile sexual assault cases involving migrants. In 2025, one in five Britons named immigration as their top concern, according to a Gallup poll.
As per usual the old cops protecting the political system’s expectations not doing the right thing under the so called law. A disgrace as they are here in New Zealand.
