Trump orders immediate release of ex-Congressman George Santos

George Santos release news
George Santos (L), Donald Trump (R).

U.S. President Donald Trump has commuted the prison sentence of former Republican congressman George Santos, ordering his immediate release after less than three months of a seven-year term for fraud and identity theft.

Announcing the decision on Truth Social, Trump called Santos “a rogue” but argued he was “horribly mistreated” and compared his actions to Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal’s past misstatements about military service.

Santos, expelled from Congress in 2023 and later convicted of wire fraud and identity theft, admitted diverting campaign funds for personal use. The commutation does not erase his conviction.

  1. Is Santos J3wi$h? A Mossad Operative? Gay?
This is a testament of Trump’s ‘moral compass’ where he admits to ‘grabbing pussies’ and ‘Epstein-led’ shennanigans!
Allows a Congressional deceptor and liar out pf jail, while some J-6 Trump supporters remain in jail (but the latter is not reported on or talked about…!).
I wonder how many of these exploited young women were J3wi$h??…probably none of them!

  2. These ‘Congressional Critters’ lie about their military service (IF they even have any…) while ignoring pleas for help from Veterans on the streets.
All one can expect is an auto-reply, and the onus placed back on the Veteran, or the deflective tact of referrals back to the Armed Forces Branch that the Veteran served in…where they deny, deny, deny, until they die!!!!!
‘Little Marco’ Rubio, Rick Scott, Chuck Schumer, and the rest of the Senatorial and Congressional organisms that live in D.C. (Disctict of Criminals) actually have contempt for Veterans; even if they themselves served in the military. John McCain and John Kerry are prime examples of this!

  3. George Santos’s sentence of 87 months (just over 7 years) was in line with federal sentencing guidelines for his crimes, and was the maximum recommended under those guidelines.
    ⚖️ Sentencing Breakdown
    – Charges: Santos pleaded guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
    – Guidelines Range: According to the Pre sentence Investigation Report, the advisory range was:
    – 51 to 63 months for wire fraud
    – Mandatory 24 months consecutive for identity theft
    – Total Recommended: 75 months by the Probation Department
    – Actual Sentence: 87 months, which was the maximum allowable under the guidelines
The judge cited the scale of deception—including stealing donor identities, misusing campaign funds, and filing false unemployment claims—as justification for the full sentence.
Trump did say He was going to drain the swamp.
Santos falsely claimed Jewish heritage during His Congressional campaign.
