U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that Cuba will need to reach an agreement with Washington to avoid a worsening humanitarian situation, as new economic pressure is applied to the country.
Trump recently signed an executive order placing tariffs on goods from any country that sells oil to Cuba, tightening long-standing US embargo measures that date back to the 1960s.
The move follows the loss of Venezuelan oil supplies to Cuba after the US detained Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, whose country had been a key energy provider to the island.
Speaking to reporters Trump said conditions for Cuba were already deteriorating.
“We have a situation that’s very bad for Cuba. They have no money. They have no oil,” he said, adding that Cuba had relied heavily on Venezuelan support that was no longer available. He suggested a deal with the United States could prevent further hardship, saying, “It doesn’t have to be a humanitarian crisis. I think they probably would come to us and want to make a deal.”
Mexico has increased oil deliveries to Cuba in recent weeks, but Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum warned the US measures could “trigger a large-scale humanitarian crisis” affecting hospitals, food supplies and basic services.
Trump did not outline specific demands for any potential agreement, but said there were people in the United States who “would love to go back to Cuba and we’d like to work that out.”
Cuban authorities have declared an international emergency in response to the pressure campaign, describing it as an extraordinary threat from the United States. Meanwhile, reports in the Financial Times suggest Cuba may only have enough oil to meet current demand for 15-20 days.
Cuba has Oreshniks, and probably the nuclear warheads to go with the same.
It’s 1962 all over again!
You can bet that if Cuba is attacked, this time it will respond, and will be allied to almost ALL of the South and Central American Nations which will come in and support Cuba.

Terroristic US low lives, simple as that.
….worsening humanitarian situation, as new economic pressure is applied to the country…
This is nothing but economic warfare from the meanest bully on earth, manipulated by zionist scum.
“We have a situation that’s very bad for Cuba. They have no money. They have no oil,”
– Hardly surprising since Cuba has suffered crippling sanctions dating back to 1960.
Put simply, the U.S. brand of ultra capitalism (based on usury) that has created enormous (un-earned) wealth for the oligarchs cannot abide any political system based on sharing. Public Health, Education and Welfare are anathema to the entitled class and must be “regime-changed” lest they provide successful models for the rest of the World.
Alex Krainer’s analysis of the fall of the Roman Empire draws a convincing line between Usury and the rise of oligarchy leading to corruption and collapse. The paralells with the current political/social conditions are striking.

Usury was prohibited by every major religion, Plato, Aristotle, even Jesus up until Maimonides issued a Tamudic dispensation permitting the charging of interest on loans to non-Jews around 1200AD.
Is it coincidence that Iraq, Libya, Syria, Venezuela and Iran all have (or had) laws against Usury?
You nailed it. Thank you.
