Tulsi Gabbard says ‘dishonest media’ took her Iran nuke testimony out of context

U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is under fire after a tweet suggesting Iran could produce a nuclear weapon within “weeks to months” if it decides to finalise assembly.

Gabbard accused the media of taking her testimony out of context and spreading “fake news” to sow division. “President Trump has been clear that can’t happen, and I agree,” she wrote.

Her remarks have drawn fierce criticism from commentators and political figures across the spectrum. Independent journalist Kim Iversen called Gabbard’s statement “absolutely shameful,” while pro-Iran activist Jackson Hinkle compared her to former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s infamous claim about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. “If we go to war in Iran, this will be your legacy,” Hinkle warned.

Liberty Lockdown host Clint Russell also challenged Gabbard, saying her tweet contradicted her earlier testimony. “You clearly stated that they have NOT decided to restart the nuclear weapons program… Now you claim they could be weeks away. This is a lie,” he posted.

  1. Once a Zionist , always a Zionist. She can’t undo the record of her in congress in March testifying that “Iran is not building a nuclear bomb”.

  2. So its all falling into place, so the US can attack Iran. This is simply Iraq 2.0 WMD’s all over again. The difference, this time, is Iran’s leadership is not a CIA proxy turned rogue and its military is closer to Russia’s, in terms of military capability. I doubt Trump will see out his term if this turns pear shaped .

  3. Its worth mentioning too, the reason the Iraq regime turned against the US, was the war it fought against Iran. With all the US backing in the world, it failed and bankrupted the Iraq. Hence the reason it attacked Kuwait, to recoup its financial losses. Iran was far more isolated and less powerful, than it is today, too. Some people never learn.

  4. When Iraq demanded payment for the war with iran, the U.S. Congress cut the budget meant for Iraq’s cost in fighting the war.
Afterwards, Saddam Hussein went on to continue the Iran -Iraq War with his own money until that too ran out.
When payment for the war against America’s enemy Iran wasn’t forthcoming to reimburse Iraq and Saddam Hussein, that is when Iraqw invaded Kuwait.
    Why?
So that Iraq could seize the oil wells as collateral in Kuwait which just happened to belong to the George H.W. Bush Family via their Tenneco Oil Holdings located in Kuwait.
America’s former friend, Saddam Hussein, who fought the proxy war with Iran in behalf of America, died after being anally raped with a pipe and murdered without any trial…
Same as what happened to Moammar Kadafi of Libya.
& Hellary Clinton giggled with her famous Zionist-Globalist line, cackling “We came, we saw, he died!” =cackle= =cackle= =cackle=
Those nations that have been friendly with the Zionist and Israeli-led United States of America often end-up dead…

  5. Tulsi Gabbard (a Hindu, BTW…) now needs to get OUT of the U.S. and disappear to Russia where she’ll be safe from assassins!

  6. Just when she had garnered credibility and separated distinguishing herself from the swamp creatures
All tarred with the same brush
