U.K. Deputy PM resigns over ‘hypocritical’ tax dodge scandal

Angela Raynor resignation news

Angela Rayner has resigned as Deputy Prime Minister, Housing Secretary, and Deputy Labour leader after admitting she underpaid stamp duty on the purchase of an £800,000 flat.

Initially claiming she was exempt due to a trust arrangement for her disabled son, fresh legal advice confirmed she was liable for the surcharge.

Though ethics watchdog Sir Laurie Magnus praised her “integrity”, he found she breached ministerial standards.

Rayner accepted full responsibility, saying she regretted “not seeking specialist advice sooner”. Her departure sparked fierce criticism from Conservatives, who accused Labour of hypocrisy and weak leadership, while leader Keir Starmer insisted she remains a major figure in the party.

  1. All the puppets of the political union [Acts of Union 1706/1707] that birthed the British Imperialist System (not English) an extension of the Roman Imperialist System, need to be kicked out of our parliaments, the abstract concept of “Parliament” or “Democracy”—facades behind which they hide— throughout the west. Our enemy is Parliament and its masters—the Dutch-Venetian Bankers [Anglo-Dutch] from the City of London, the controllers of the British Imperialist system.

  2. Read somewhere that it is Starmer himself who released to the press the tax info about Rayner as he wanted to get rid of her.
He is also the one who got rid of corbijn and Diane Abbot, old and respected party members removed on spurrious grounds.
Not that i would vote for labour, but it says something about starmer’s caracter . Nasty conceited hypocriet.
    Disliked him at first sight
