Stephen Ireland, 41, co-founder of ‘Pride in Surrey’ was sentenced to 24 years in prison with an additional six years on extended licence for raping a 12-year-old boy he met on Grindr, at his flat in Addlestone on 19 April 2024.
The boy, referred to as Child A, was described as “extremely vulnerable” and had been reported missing at the time.
Ireland, aware of the boy’s age, described it as “naughty and kinky” and engaged in further illicit communications, while his partner, David Sutton, 27, was jailed for four-and-a-half years for related offences, including making indecent photographs of children.
The pair were convicted of multiple sexual offences against children, including voyeurism and perverting the course of justice, after exploiting vulnerable minors and deleting evidence from their phones. Judge Patricia Lees condemned their actions, noting they “fed off one another” in their crimes, with Ireland taking advantage of a highly sexualised and groomed child.

They should be banning Grindr. Too many stories from that app of depraved creeps taking advantage of boys and teens.
Castration is the only thing that will stop people like this from doing it again.

The whole idea of ‘Pride’ is to get exposure of the homosexual lifestyle to your children for this express purpose.
