Ukrainian drone attack injures six in public park (Video)

Kiev’s forces struck Russia’s Donetsk on Sunday.

A Ukrainian kamikaze drone struck a park in Russia’s Donetsk on Sunday, injuring six people, including a teenage girl, according to regional authorities.

Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, said the UAV hit the Gulliver park in the western part of the city, an area that has often come under shelling during the conflict.

He added that Kiev’s forces carried out 15 “armed attacks” on Donetsk and the nearby town of Makeevka, using 155mm artillery and drones.

Footage from RT’s Murad Gazdiev, filmed shortly after the strike, shows debris, blood stains on the pavement, and benches damaged by shrapnel.

A school was also heavily damaged, though no one was injured inside as it was closed at the time.

Ukrainian drone firm to invest £200m in Britain
New Zealand is deeply tied into the UK–Ukraine 100-Year Partnership, though not as a formal signatory. Instead, NZ is playing a strategic supporting role through defense, training, and drone tech. Here’s how:
    🇳🇿 New Zealand’s Involvement
    🪖 Military Training
    – NZDF personnel have helped train over 54,000 Ukrainian soldiers alongside UK forces under Operation Interflex, and that commitment is now extended through December 2026.
    – This includes tactical field training, logistics, and battlefield medical support.
    🤝 Defence Cooperation with UK
    – NZ and the UK are refreshing their Joint Defense Partnership, originally signed in 2015, to better respond to modern threats.
    – The Royal New Zealand Navy is set to join the UK’s Carrier Strike Group for Indo-Pacific operations, reinforcing maritime security and alliance strength.
    🚁 Drone Production
    – The UK signed a £30 million contract with SYOS Aerospace, a New Zealand drone manufacturer based in Hampshire, to supply drones for Ukraine.
    – This deal created 45 jobs in the UK and supports nine subcontractors, showing how NZ tech is embedded in the UK’s defence supply chain.
    🌍 Strategic Influence
    – NZ is part of the Coalition of the Willing, contributing to post-conflict planning and resilience strategies for Ukraine.
    – PM Luxon and PM Starmer emphasized their shared commitment to the rules-based international order and economic recovery through trade.
So while NZ isn’t a formal signatory to the 100-year pact, it’s woven into its execution—especially in defense, tech, and strategic planning.
