Greater Manchester Police have named the two men killed in Thursday’s terrorist attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue as Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, both from Crumpsall.

While formal identifications are pending, families have been informed and liaison officers are providing support. Three others remain in hospital with serious injuries following the Yom Kippur attack, which saw 35-year-old suspect Jihad Al-Shamie drive a car at the synagogue gates before stabbing worshippers, and was shot dead by police at the scene.

Security staff and congregants prevented him from entering the synagogue. Police have since arrested three additional people on terrorism charges and increased patrols around Jewish communities to provide reassurance ahead of Shabbat.

  1. Shabbat is not Palm Sunday.
    Judaism is not Hebrewism.
Hebrewism is not a man made religion.
But is the word of YAHWAH God as written by the prophets.
Hebrews 1:1 YAHWAH God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
    Hebrewism uses the whole Bible.
Not just the first five Books Jews call the Torah in order to garner credibility for a fake religion – Judaism – which they bought back from the Babylonian captivity in 538BC.
    Which is when Hebrewism ended.
Modern Hebrew invented by the Jews – Mesoretic Text – is not Paleo Old Hebrew
Shabbat—שַׁבָּת—is the weekly Jewish day of rest, beginning at sundown Friday and ending at nightfall Saturday.
Observance means ceasing from labor: Traditional observance includes refraining from work and creative acts (melacha), creating space for spiritual reflection.
Sanctifying time: Shabbat is marked by lighting candles, blessing wine (Kiddush), and sharing challah—rituals that elevate the ordinary into sacred.
Communal and familial bonding: Meals, songs (zemirot), and Torah study foster deep connection.
A foretaste of the world to come: In mystical tradition, Shabbat is a glimpse of messianic peace—a weekly portal into cosmic harmony.
    Friday Night Rituals
Candle lighting: Often by women, ushering in Shabbat with light and intention.
Kiddush: Blessing over wine, declaring the sanctity of the day.
Challah: Braided bread symbolizing manna from heaven.
    Saturday Cadence
Morning prayers: Including the Torah reading.
Rest and study: A time for spiritual nourishment.
Third meal (Seudah Shlishit): Often quieter, more introspective.
Havdalah: A multisensory ritual marking the end of Shabbat—using wine, spices, and a braided candle to distinguish sacred from ordinary.

    • Whatever, who cares, but they need to leave humanity alone with their medieval dis-enlightened sectarian BS.
      Same with the Moslems.
And get t. f. out of Palestine!
