Wang Yaping became China’s first female astronaut to complete a spacewalk over the weekend.
The walk is expected to last six hours as Yaping and commander Zhai Zhingang install a foot restraint and workbench on the robotic arm of Space Station Tianhe, as well as conduct a number of tests outside the module.

41 year old Yaping is China’s second female astronaut in space, and is the first to live on Tiahne in addition to the spacewalk.
