A group of protesters carrying ‘F*** Trudeau’ flags were brutally dealt with by cops outside the annual Liberal Party retreat in London, Ontario this week.
It’s the second time this year a Liberal Party conference has attracted anti-Trudeau protests. The latest closed-door meeting took place against a backdrop of sagging polls for the ruling party.
Video footage uploaded to Twitter (X) by Dacey Media showed police breaking up the protest with force. It’s unclear from the video how many protesters were in attendance, or whether actions of the group had justified the heavy-handed response. ‘You have no right, you provoked this,’ protesters yelled as police moved in and began ripping down the flags and pulling protesters to the ground.
At the end of the video three officers are shown grabbing a small woman and taking her to a police car. According to the tweet the ‘ragdolled’ woman was reportedly just picking up her phone.

Earlier in the day Prime Minister Trudeau announced that he was taking action against rising food prices by summoning the leaders of Canada’s largest grocers to a meeting next week in Ottawa where they must come up with a plan to ‘stabilise prices’ by October 9.
‘If their plan doesn’t provide real relief … we will take further action and we are not ruling anything out, including tax measures,’ said Trudeau.
