Watch: School Board stops dad from reading high school library book at public meeting because of ‘pornographic content’

Florida father Bruce Friedman was about to read the contents of a book in the Fleming Island High School library when his microphone was cut off.

Friedman was attempting to demonstrate the inappropriate content of the book when the school board’s attorney interjected and turned off the microphone, saying it was illegal for Friedman to publicise ‘pornographic content.’

‘The problem is sir, these meetings are broadcast. There’s people watching at home, they’re watching it on YouTube, there’s people watching it on community television.

‘You’ll get it back [the microphone], but you’ll get it back to talk about something besides reading pornography in a public television set,’ said the attorney.

Friedman is a representative of the ‘No Left Turn in Education‘ group. Speaking to local media after the event he said, ‘They’re trying to sexualise and normalise deviant behaviour. Sexualising our children is grooming.’
