U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, has arrived in Moscow ahead of expected talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin focused on ending the war in Ukraine.
Witkoff is travelling with Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as part of renewed diplomatic efforts between Washington and Moscow.
The visit follows comments Witkoff made earlier this week at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he revealed the meeting was requested by the Russian side after what he described as “great progress” in recent negotiations. He acknowledged, however, that territorial issues remain the central obstacle to a final agreement.
“The Russians have invited us to come. And that’s a significant statement from them,” Witkoff said, adding that there is growing momentum on all sides to reach a deal. He indicated discussions with Putin will centre on Washington’s 20-point peace framework, noting that negotiations have narrowed largely to disputes over land.
Witkoff has met Putin multiple times throughout 2025 in pursuit of a settlement, including lengthy talks in December. Following those discussions, Kremlin officials said some US proposals were acceptable, while others failed to bridge key differences between the two sides.

The Glades County Commissioners will now raise the property taxes at Buckhead Ridgeand surrounding areas (ie Lakeport, Moore Haven, etc.) under the insistance of the J3w$ developing the Lakefront Estates community.
Most of the Glades County Officials will have probably been paid-off or bonused to do this, and the Glades County Sheriff has already threatened those White People who speak out against the ‘new community’ with arrests and Florida State felony charges.
Homewoners Insurance Policies will start to increase significantly at Buckhead Ridge and the surrounding areas with NO flood or wind damage protection based on the last two decades of increasingly seeded and microwaved hurricanes.
House and land prices there will drop, and falls in conjunction with the utilities now becoming unaffordable.
Couple that with food scarcity and unaffordability, and those White People who have lived at Buckhead Ridge, some for generations, are now leaving for Appalachia and some even for other countries in order to escape the United States of Israel!
