Police are appealing for help from the public to identify two witnesses to an assault in Sumner, Christchurch on Saturday 17 December.
Christchurch Police recently made an arrest in relation to this assault and an 18-year-old man has appeared before the courts.
To help with this inquiry, Police would like to speak to the two people who witnessed the event that occurred between 7:30 and 10pm that night.
