Billy TK and Vinny Eastwood to appeal sentence, Counterspin case adjourned

The Pro-Freedom campaigners received jail sentences today for organising a protest during a COVID lockdown in August 2021.

Te Kahika received a four month sentence, while Eastwood received three months.

The pair indicated through their lawyers that they would be appealing both the convictions and sentences. Judge Winter granted both men bail while this was in process.

Counterspin Case adjourned

Meanwhile the Counterspin case also was in court today, in Christchurch.

The case has been adjourned until 10 May.

  1. Wow. Four months. That”s incredibly harsh and unfair.

    I think we can safely Billy TK has been ‘made an example of’ by our captured judiciary.

    Our totalitarian government will not tolerate dissent.
