The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) have called for public feedback on the issue of ‘climate change’.
MFAT are in the process of consulting on New Zealand’s approach to international climate change negotiations.
Feedback will inform advice to the Government on an updated mandate to guide New Zealand’s participation in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP) and other international climate fora.
‘We want to hear from New Zealanders on what is important to you and how you want to be represented on the world stage when it comes to climate change.
‘Your feedback will inform advice to Ministers to help us better advocate for New Zealand values and interests at COP28 in Dubai later this year and beyond.’
Consultation closes on 10 May.

Ask some loaded questions, and then cherry pick the answers to suit the desired outcome.
