‘Another win against tyranny’ – jab mandates for Queensland health workers set to end

Queensland jab mandates news

The abolishment of the two-year mandate policy represents ‘a major shift’ in policy.

A review by the Queensland government in July recommended the policy be ‘scrapped’.

Australian politician and member of the United Australia Party Craig Kelly described the measure as ‘another win against tyranny’.

‘But this doesn’t end until every vaccine mandate ends,’ Kelly tweeted, ‘and those that implemented these policies face justice and pay for their crimes against humanity and abuses of human rights. Never again can such coercion be used to force people to inject experimental substances into their body.’

News.com.au reported the change of tack was likely to affect thousands of workers, although those who refused to take the mRNA gene therapy could still be subject to ‘disciplinary procedures’.

Nurses Professional Association Queensland secretary Ella Leach told the legacy media outlet that unvaccinated healthcare workers were needed to fill ongoing staff shortages. ‘Their absence from the workplace poses a threat to patients every day and the persistent staffing shortage will end up with more blood on Queensland Health’s hands,’ she said.

Queensland Health Minister Shannon Fentiman told ABC Radio Brisbane that Queensland’s chief health officer had made the decision that the mandate was no longer necessary. ‘We’ve really come to the end of the pandemic, and COVID vaccinations really should be considered the same way that we consider flu vaccinations.’

A two-week consultation period with interested parties will begin next week, following which the acting Director-General of Queensland Health will issue the final decision.

  1. Good on that man Craig Kelly. I am hoping they are all brought to justice too. They can’t deny they didn’t know what they were doing. They were warned – and they dismissed or levelled scorn at those that warned.

Looking at you Jacinda, Chris, Ashley, Michael, Siouxsie, Rod and all the others who used their position to coerce and threaten.

  2. Well those who haven’t already left our health service will be doing so now. I’ve been put on a waiting list myself for surgery and cannot be given a date. I said to them why is this and they said so many nurses and doctors have left. In fact Waikato hospital had two acute surgery teams and now they have one. Well done to all the dumb politicians in New Zealand who have absolutely wrecked our country. What’s worse is that our rotten corrupt media will not cover it. Pathetic.
