At Tesla’s Cybercab event, CEO Elon Musk unveiled the company’s latest tech innovations, including a fleet of Optimus humanoid robots and the futuristic Robovan concept vehicle.
The demonstration showed Optimus robots performing everyday tasks like bringing in packages, watering plants, and serving drinks, with Musk emphasising their role in “seamlessly integrating” into daily life.
Musk shared a vision where Optimus robots could handle tasks such as walking dogs, babysitting, and even mowing lawns, eventually becoming accessible to the average household with a projected price of $20,000 to $30,000.
The event added a touch of celebrity flair with rapper 2 Chainz interacting with an Optimus robot, further highlighting Tesla’s goal of creating “personable and intelligent” assistants.
Optimus just poured a drink and didn’t ask for a 25% tip on an iPad.
