Marc King at the “Safe & Effective” Roadshow: Empowering wellness beyond COVID restrictions

Marc King news

Personal trainer, health and life coach Marc King will speak at the “Safe & Effective” Roadshow in November.

He will focus on lifestyle, health and wellness with information that will help attendees create a future through positive intention.

“The reaction by the government to Covid and the draconian rules and restrictions forced upon us have left scars on many of us and created wedges between many friends and families. I want to empower you with strategies and behaviours that will not only reverse the damage but take you to a place where you can be your best self,” says King.

King has spent more than 50 years curiously and passionately studying why people do what people do and how this impacts their physical and mental health. Everyone has so much potential but very few maximise it or even get close to maximising it.

He opened up a health and fitness centre in Taupo at the age of nineteen shortly after winning his first bodybuilding competition. He owned and ran it seven days a week for five years and learnt how to be as much a counsellor/ life coach, as a fitness coach.

He wrote weekly articles in the Taupo Times on all manner of health topics and was regularly asked to speak on a range of subjects from weight loss to creating healthy habits.

Since then, King competed and won many bodybuilding competitions the last one being ‘Mr Auckland over 40s’. He continues to speak publicly on many topics from “Healthy Weight Management”, “Anti Ageing”, “Motivation and Inspiration” to “How to deal with Overwhelm’.

He has owned various companies from Publishing, Personal Training/Nutrition to Personal Coaching. His passion has always been to help people understand themselves and to get through sticking points throughout their lives to come out better, stronger and more able to cope with what life throws them.

Registrations for the “Safe & Effective” Roadshow be made online at the Safe & Effective Roadshow website, with events being held during November in Dunedin (9th), Queenstown (11th), Nelson (13th), and Wellington (15th).

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with experts, hear testimonies, and gain insights into aspects of the pandemic response they feel were downplayed by mainstream media.

Organisers of the event advocate for the need for a compassionate, transparent dialogue about the impact of COVID-19 health policies on New Zealanders’ well-being.

The roadshow will cover a range of topics, from potential connections between vaccine side effects and sudden health issues to testimonials from medical professionals.

With a focus on supporting those seeking clarity and community, the event invites those who have experienced health challenges post-vaccination, as well as advocates for informed health choices, to participate in what organizers describe as “a journey of inquiry, knowledge, and support.”
