Judge declines Liz Gunn’s application for a discharge without conviction

Liz Gunn conviction news

Campaigner Liz Gunn was convicted of assaulting an Auckland Airport security worker in February 2023.

Gunn’s application for a discharge without conviction was heard today in the Manukau District Court.

Judge Janey Forrest ruled the conviction was proportionate to the offending.

While the judge acknowledged the assault was minor, she ruled the circumstances warranted the entering of a conviction. An application for costs by the prosecution was declined.

  1. This is just an attempt to convince others that if you go against the govt narrative they will cut you down anyway they can for their globalist bosses.

  2. What utter offensive arrogance by her gawd-graciousness, the totally-removed-from-the-people Justitia jjudge Janey Forrest to rule such blatant nonsense. What a pawn in the system her hiness she is.
Remember judge, you work for the common law too. We the people will never forget.

  3. “Judge Janey Forrest ruled the conviction was proportionate to the offending”.
    You mean this judge;
The courtroom was charged with tension as Judge Janey Forrest announced Gunn’s conviction, according to state media. Emotions ran high throughout the trial, particularly when Judge Forrest exited the courtroom, prompting shouts of “There goes the corrupt judge, shame on you” and “what a joke” from some supporters.
    What a disgrace.

  4. Anyone thinking there is anything that looks like true justice in New Zealand, can think again. Just another US colony……

  5. Ditto to all the above (or below) replies.
“Judge” Janey Forrest should rightly be stripped of her license and never be allow to judge again.
    She was 100% bias.
Worse, LOOK AT THE ACTUAL ASSAULT FOOTAGE THE NZ POLICE DID! And got away with it.
Sadly, NZ has gone completely fine the toilet now.

  6. The nation has ruled Judge Janey Forrest is a deep state appeaser and her ruling in this matter will be considered unjust by the people. It will be the shame she will have to live with for the rest of her career. Sneered at by people in public until she can’t go out.

One day, when the just people rule, Liz Gunn will receive her pardon and honers. In the meantime, she will remain our beloved lady of New Zealand and a guardian of truth.
