Canadian media is doing all they can to discredit the truckers. The government has coerced GoFundMe to freeze the truckers $10 million donations! NOW the government is suing the convoy for $10 million! (Same amount as the donations). There’s no luting, no burning, like Trudeaus BLM people!
I thought I read this morning that all the funds were either being returned or given to charity. Although one can’t believe everything that one reads.
All the funds paid in to GoFundMe are being automatically returned after a nuclear bomb of grassroots pressure.
GiveSendGo has receiver $4million USD so far for the truckers and the bulk of the C$9 million returned from GoFundMe will go to GiveSendGo, with many donors saying they will double their contributions.
Jackboot tactics must be resisted by Ghandi-like tactics. Even cops and the self-appointed Elite Royalty need to eat. Stop feeding them.
New Zealand media was bought last year, this year and next with three staged payoffs in the interest of reporting what matters to New Zealanders. If the government instructs the fuel companies to not sell transport fuel to the protest convoys would anyone be surprised if the trucks blocked the roads in default? Yup. We just want to be left alone to work, raise our kids, look after our health and hopefully do a few things we enjoy when we finally reach retirement. At this rate that will never happen. Gen X here.
I always felt the post war boom population would take us down as they go out and so far that seems to be playing out. European pension funds are broke and I bet ours here in NZ is close to that as well. Now don’t get me wrong I am not blaming all those people individually, it’s just the shear number of them weighing the system down. Of course it doesn’t help that some of them own 4 houses, collect the rent on those AND get the pension too. What is it now $670 in the hand a week for a couple? Some people are rolling in it and all at the expense of their own kids and grandchildren which I find a bit disturbing to be honest.

Don’t fall for the propaganda our dear leaders cover their asses with. The world isn’t going to shit because of “greedy” old white people retiring.
The real problem is the incestuous puppet show that’s been going on between our governments and the central banking elites for close to 100 years now. Pitting nations against one another, financing wars, “loaning” the money they print to our governments and then charging interest (which they themselves also print) on every dollar. Inflation forever.
If people are able to retire owing 3 or 4 houses, good on them. Being frugal and making wise investment decisions shouldn’t be regarded as an offence, this isn’t the Soviet Union (no matter how much Jacinda wishes it was).
If these same people have spent decades also paying into a pension fund, why in the hell shouldn’t they be entitled to their money when retirement comes? It’s THEIR money. It’s not their fault if governments overextended themselves, some war nobody wanted breaks out or fund managers just blew too much on cocaine and hookers.
It’s not their responsibility to look after the younger generation either by the way. Maybe a little less entitlement would do the millenial and GenZ idiots some good. Perhaps if they work hard and sacrifice as their forefathers did, instead of just always bitching about how hard they’ve got it, they might get somewhere in life (FYI I’m 25)
If the returns remain too meagre and the system too corrupt, then maybe young people should seek redress from those running the system instead of from their elders who survived it ????????♂️
