Star halfback Luke Metcalf has signed a two-year contract extension with the One New Zealand Warriors, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2028 NRL season.
The 26-year-old, who led the Dally M Medal race mid-season before an ACL injury cut short his campaign, reaffirmed his commitment to the Warriors amid growing external interest.
Metcalf said his desire to help deliver the club’s first-ever premiership and the strong faith shown by coach Andrew Webster and CEO Cameron George were key factors in his decision.
Having quickly become the team’s chief playmaker, Metcalf has impressed with his leadership, game control, and passion for New Zealand, saying he now considers it home.
