Clashes between police and protesters erupted this morning, as claims are made that trouble-makers in the crowd are paid police ‘agitators’.
Earlier, a white car was seen to drive dangerously close to the police line, resulting in the driver being forcibly removed from the vehicle.
Protesters have identified a number of individuals on social media who they claim are working for police to deliberately start and fuel violence.

Update: DTNZ has since learned that the man pictured above, while causing disturbances with fireworks and not apparently connected with any of the protest groups, is in face wearing a hearing aid.
I am absolutely disgusted in the Governments handling of these protests. Of course it’s all a big set up from the police ( Govt ) to invoke as much anger as possible from the protesters.
I have strong doubts as to whether that was a protester behind the wheel of that white car , wouldn’t be that difficult for police to obtain one of those tags. Truth is Government are running out of options on how to control the situation and they will sink to any low.
