Moscow warns UK military sites could face Russian strikes

Russia has warned that British military facilities and equipment could become targets for retaliatory strikes if Ukraine continues using UK-supplied weapons to attack Russian territory.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova issued the warning on Thursday amid worsening relations between Moscow and London, following reports that Ukrainian forces used British-French Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles in an attack on Donetsk that wounded at least eight civilians, including two children.

“We have repeatedly warned that the response to Ukrainian strikes using British weapons against Russian territory could be directed against any British military facilities and equipment in Ukraine and beyond,” Zakharova told reporters.

She said those responsible for attacks on Russian civilians would face consequences, along with what she described as their “accomplices and instigators.” Zakharova also accused successive British governments of seeking Russia’s “strategic defeat” and warned UK residents about what she called the potentially “catastrophic consequences” of London’s policies.

Her comments follow Britain’s decision earlier this week to approve the transfer of classified technology intended to help Ukraine manufacture Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles domestically.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Britain of “participating in this war on the side of the Kiev regime” and said Russian forces were gathering intelligence on Ukrainian sites involved in producing missiles and other military equipment with a view to targeting them.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has similarly argued that British involvement in missile strikes against Russia amounts to participation in the conflict “with all the consequences that entails.”

  1. Putin would be fully justified and supported in doing so in self defence under the UN charter
Russia was fully justified in its Special Military Operation incursion into Ukraine due to the indiscriminate shelling of cities in Donbass namely Donetsk and Luhansk which had already killed over 14,000 people mostly civilians after the failure and betrayal of the Minsk agreements which the west used and had never had any intention of keeping only in building up Ukrainian Armed forces to NATO standard to confront Russia
Just like Putin may be fully justified in taking such actions again
And quite frankly the sooner the better

  2. Three Oreshnik IRBM hypersonic missiles, one each for MBDA, MGI Engineering, and Rotron Aerospace – the three main suppliers of long range missiles used in the killing of Russian civilians and see how they respond.

They will likely do nothing, nor will their fellow weak arse NATO buddies.

But If they do, then they will get their war, and Russia must use, first tactical nuclear weapons on military targets, and then strategic.

Four 280 tonne Sarmat ICBMs carrying ten 750kt thermonuclear warheads EACH arriving from the four cardinal points are all that is required to remove Britain entirely from the map and turn it into an uninhabitable wasteland.

Remember Dresden, remember Hamburg, remember Cologne and the other cities firebombed by the British and Americans that killed 5,000,000 civilians, mostly women and children, and wounded soldiers in the world’s most horrific war crime and largest terrorist attack bar none.

Justice will finally come to Britain and it will be Russia that delivers it.

That is the end state of Britain’s suicidal foreign policy.

    • The end state for sure- then New Zealand and Australia will be free of the Monarchy and hanging on to Great Britain’s (*Masonic) *apron strings!
Australia has had an open invitation for New Zealand to become part of Oz since 1911, and the offer still stands.
Changing demographics, political profiles, and economics may yet determine Oceania’s future, provided that the current ‘leaders’ aren’t stupid enough NOT to declare Armed Neutrality and an internal self-sufficient economy!
THAT IS WHY I’M VOTING FOR THE NEW ZEALAND LOYAL PARTY IN NOVEMBER ’26, JUST LIKE I DID IN ’23..!

      • With the level of incompetence being displayed currently by our so called leaders who are more interested in child ritual sacrifice to appease the aspirations of their jewish donors and controllers to world wide takeover and control nothing would surprise me at this present point in time

      • One or two minor points. When Britain established Australia as a “country” at the turn of the 20th century they intended for New Zealand to be a part of that country – they ended up as two separate countries, both of them having their government structure bestowed on them from Westminster. Australia and New Zealand are British creations. There was no war of independence, only a minor change in the system of administration (which possibly averted a war of independence).
During WW2 a long established Dutch territory in what is now Indonesia (and surrounding region) came to an end – they first got there at the end of the 16th century. There are no longer any Dutch cities or people in Indonesia. They left, or perished, during WW2 and were never able to go back.
        History is a bitch init?

What was the price to be paid for being a vassal state in licking Uncle Sam’s butt and hanging tenaciously from NATO’s apron strings involved in self sacrifice being used in a proxy war against Russia?
The chickens are coming home to roost
    An inconvenient truth
    Won’t end well

  4. Zakharova is warning of strikes on UK personnel in Ukraine only. This is because UK personnel are required to assemble, target and fire the Stormshaddow missiles.

Russia are letting the normies know why their family and friends return in zinc carskets from “training accidents”; when the UK say non of their personnel are in Ukraine. Total lies.

  5. Cutting off the low price gas from Russia to Europe and the UK by blowing up the Nord 2 pipeline wasn’t very bright.

Allowing Ukraine to join NATO and expected Russia, to roll over and accept weapons os mass destruction that close to Russia was just as unacceptable as Russia placing those weapons in Cuba during the 1960’s

I’m wondering if the policy is to cut trade from nations with an abundance of low cost resources then start a watr so you don’t have to pay for them.

Bearing in mind, Russia is very capable especially with its alliance with China.

Who is the idiot who thinks the UK iand Europe is in any position to wage war.? UK and European leaders are struggling to align with their citizens.

Then of course there is extreme bureaucratic nonsense every single industry and individual has to cope with.

Policies that have led to the collapse of the birthrate, also called useless eaters isn’t turning out so well for the economy. Seems the destruction of family by redistribution of wealth by family court has its consequences.

The unelected EU and other bureaucratic decision makers along with extreme taxation is taking its toll. Citizens are turning away from the major parties. Starting to listen to people with pratical ideas and policies from people like Pauline Hansons One Nation and the Opportunity party. Those traditional political parties are starring down the barrel of unemployment for the shambles they created.

Ya don’t need a huge political party to force change. You just need the casting vote.

How hard can it be to provide practical and sensible governance to a nation? The UK and European economies pails with China, India Russia and the super resource rich Africa.

  6. I’ll wager its not just blueprints and manufacturing either. No doubt the UK is involved in target acquisition and operation of these missiles, as the Ukrainian’s would not yet have the necessary expertise or necessarily the satellite equipment and more needed to operate independently.

The UK has made itself a party to this war but then lets be honest its as much the West’s war as it is Ukraine’s, maybe more so. No hiding behind a proxy for too much longer. Totally foolish in every sense but it might open the door to a revolution back home, which may not be such a bad thing.
