Police have issued updates today in respect of two missing persons cases.
Update – missing man David Holland
Search teams looking for missing Papamoa man David Holland have exhausted available lines of enquiry at this time.
Extensive searches have been made of the area in an effort to understand what might have happened to David, who was last seen on the evening of Friday 11 March.
To date, nothing of note has been found that would give us any clues as to David’s whereabouts or movements.
Further searching cannot occur without evidence to narrow any areas of interest.
The search is still being reviewed and Police will assess any new information received.
We are still appealing to anyone with information about David’s movements or whereabouts to come forward.

Search for missing tramper, Fiordland
Police continue to search for a missing tramper in Fiordland today.
The tramper, who had been intending to climb Devil’s Armchair, was reported overdue shortly after midnight on Monday, and a search was initiated yesterday morning.
Before first light today, an aerial search using thermal and night vision technology was conducted.
A LandSAR dog will continue to search today in the area along the northern part of the Milford Track.
Alpine Cliff Rescue teams will assist to search what was believed to be the man’s intended route.
Further aerial searches will be conducted and extra LandSAR and Police Search and Rescue staff will also join the search efforts today.
