Police today charged a 60-year-old Christchurch man with the manslaughter of 21-year-old Braydon Hepworth.
The man was arrested in early October and was charged with concealing Braydon’s body and making a false statement.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Christchurch District Court today, Thursday 29 October. He has been granted interim name suppression.
“Last week, Police charged a 34-year-old Christchurch man in relation to the concealment of Braydon’s body”, said Detective Inspector Scott Anderson.
“The investigation into Braydon’s disappearance remains ongoing. However, as the matter is now before the courts, Police are unable to comment further at this time.”
