A South Australian senator, Alex Antic, has been detained in a ‘medi hotel’ in Adelaide, upon arrival in his home state from Canberra.
In a video Antic explains the reasons for his detention are ‘unclear’.
‘I’ve had a Covid test, I’m completely fine. Normally when I come back from Canberra I quarantine at home for two weeks and go through all of those processes. I’ve indicated that I;m happy to do that here. But unfortunately, the bureaucratic powers that be in this state and that now run this state, they have indicated otherwise.’
