Lois Perry, the former Ukip leader, has made a big career shift from politics to lingerie modelling just months after stepping down from her leadership role.
Perry, who led Ukip for only 34 days, announced her resignation in June following a severe bout of pneumonia that left her hospitalised in a high-dependency unit.
In a statement, she explained that after her near-death experience, she needed to focus on her recovery, prompting her to leave the political scene.
Now, Perry has signed on to model for lingerie and hosiery brand Fiore, marking a stark departure from her political career.
The 43-year-old, photographed recently in a London studio, expressed her excitement about becoming the “face and legs” of Fiore.
Perry, who now supports Reform UK, said she is embracing new opportunities and experiences outside of politics.
I am absolutely delighted to be signed as the face and legs of lingerie and hosiery brand fiore UK https://t.co/dOt8DJBoUt. It’s a slight departure from leading @Nigel_Farage‘s old party @UKIP, but I love new experiences xx pic.twitter.com/d50rj946At
