Prince Andrew has relinquished the use of his Duke of York title and membership of the Order of the Garter following ongoing public scrutiny and resurfaced allegations related to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In a statement released by Buckingham Palace, the king’s younger brother said he wished to “put my duty to my family and country first,” acknowledging that the accusations against him continued to distract from the Royal Family’s work.
The decision, made with King Charles’s agreement, comes after leaked 2011 correspondence appeared to contradict Andrew’s earlier claims that he had severed ties with Epstein.
While he will no longer use his title, Andrew remains a prince by birth and continues to deny all allegations against him.
First the British Ambassador lost his job and now the Prince lost his title. Don’t tell us there’s nothing in the Epstein files. The truth is coming out and we will not give up. When the balls overpower the brain
There can be blow back
Great timing, especially since Virginia Guiffre’s book is out today…highlighting what REALLY went on…
Plus, Virginia has several anti-A.I. encrypted and coded kill switches that have yet to be released.
All set-up before she was murdered, and not ‘suicided’.
He looks a lot like Tony Blair
Another degenerate
But while prince Andrew is publicly humiliated and his family trashed, there is complete silence over Boris Johnson’s warmongering antics, ultimately far more damaging.
