13,606 new community cases of COVID – MOH

There are 13,606 new community cases of COVID today, according to Ministry of Health PCR test and RAT results.

There are 263 cases in hospital, although information on whether these cases are hospitalised ‘with’ or ‘from’ COVID is not disclosed by the Ministry. There are 5 cases in ICU, also with no information disclosed on whether these cases are ‘with’ or ‘from’ COVID.

‘Fully vaccinated’ people once again make up the greatest percentage of hospitalised cases in the Northern Region at 42.1%. Only 11.8% of hospital cases are unvaccinated or ‘ineligible’.

The total active number of community cases is 52,808.
