Ardern and Gayford wedding to take place this month – sources

Jacinda Ardern news

Former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is set to marry her long-term fiancé, Clarke Gayford, in a small and ‘highly secure’ ceremony in Hawke’s Bay later this month, according to sources.

The wedding is scheduled for January 13 and is expected to take place at ‘an elite venue’. Ardern and Gayford got engaged during Easter 2019 and had initially planned to wed in Gisborne in January 2022, but the plans were disrupted due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The reason for relocating the wedding to Hawke’s Bay is unclear.

The ceremony will be intimate, with mostly family, close friends, and a few politicians in attendance, including former finance minister Grant Robertson, former Speaker of the House Trevor Mallard, and Ardern’s successor, Chris Hipkins.

The exact venue remains unconfirmed, but it is believed to be ‘a prestigious vineyard’. A likely wedding venue contacted legacy media sources confirmed it was fully booked for January 13 but released no other details.

  1. What a perfect opportunity for the Police to arrest her for crimes against the citizens of this country. I doubt it will happen but it’s a nice idea.

  2. So had to wait for Gayford to end house arrest ?
I’m sure the “wedding” is just for publicity anyway, there will be some angle she needs to further her carer no doubt.
Maybe she can now go to the UN and say I’m married and have a kid…..aren’t I amazing

    • There are ways around that, ie secondary embedded binary location cyclic data…not even the GCHB or SIS know about that little realm…!
Lenny & Anonymous are correct; they should be arrested on an INTERPOL warrant, but it’s ‘Rules for Thee, and NOT for …’THEM”…!
