Ashhurst arsonists identified, referred to Youth Services

Police investigating a number of recent suspicious fires in Ashhurst have identified those responsible.

Following a public appeal for information, Police spoke to a number of people in relation to the fires.

As a result, four youths aged 13-17 will be referred to Youth Services.

‘Police would like to thank the Ashhurst community who got in touch with us following the appeal for information.

‘Their assistance helped us to quickly identify and hold those responsible to account.’

    Actually no, that’s FAR too rough and violent a punishment by 2023 standards. They’ll probably each get a warm blanket, a cup of milo and a written apology from the mayor of ashhurst.
