Coroner urges vigilance around water after child’s tragic drowning at Tauranga park

A coroner has ruled the 2023 death of a four-year-old at Tauranga’s Memorial Park as an accidental drowning, after the child, who was autistic, entered a fountain and was out of sight of her caregiver for only a few minutes.

CCTV footage showed several bystanders noticing the child face down in the water but not intervening until police arrived.

The coroner expressed concern at the public’s inaction but accepted that even with earlier help, the outcome may not have changed.

Tauranga City Council has since redesigned the fountain to eliminate standing water and added safety signage following an independent review.

The coroner urged all caregivers to maintain close, physical supervision of young children around water, stressing that death by drowning can occur silently and within seconds.

  1. The public stood by and did nothing…probably noting that the child was autistic, and deliberately ignored the emergency.
No one pulled the child out of the water…probably noting beforehand that the child was ‘different’, being autistic!!

Darwinism is creeping-in now in more blatant ways, allowing these things to happen. Only the fittest are allowed to survive now.

Even Luxon and the Uni-Party have declared war on the autistic, removing their benefits if they own a home that they most likely inherited from deceased parents, or worked in minimalist jobs making mortgage payments until laid-off, which results in the loss of the home via a mortgagee sale. Then, we have Austistic children being discriminated against by Immigration as well…

Hence, there is an effort to minimalise the Autistic in society with the right to own a home, the right to a fair wage, and the right to access benefits and services. The rule of non-discrimination against the disabled and handocapped as outlines by the HRC is being blatantly ignored by this government and past governments.

Similar to the Ukrainian girl who fled a war zone only to be stabbed to death in the neck by a black man in North Carolina, and NO ONE INTERVENED (Note- passengers were all black…and yes, that DOES make a glaring note of racism against the stabbed white victim…)

We’re seeing situations like the above starting to happen to New Zealanders at bus stops, train stations, off of school grounds, etc.
It’s under-reported unless there is serious injury or death, and the population majority is noting this, as well as the suppressive and stifling firearms regulations which do not allow for self-defence.
