The High Court has issued a 48-hour suppression order connected to the Tom Phillips case after an urgent application by lawyer Linda Clark on behalf of the Phillips family.

  1. Sounds like the Phillips family understand there are inconsistencies in the Police favored account.

Total blame to Tom the villain and sainthood for their man and policing practices.

    • I was a victim of mismatched evidence that reached the ears of a jury. The police officer in charge was left red faced in court. When matching the two statements, it was found the officer in charge comvinced a witness to change their evidence from what they previously said. The whole case collapsed. Left the witness to tell the jury it was the police officer in charge who asked them to change their statement. Great so I won the trial. But heres the thing. Nothing happened to the policeman. No penalty, no perjury charge no loss of job. No comment from the judge. No withdrawal of the charge.

When i was a child i had great faith in our police. I had no knowledge or experience . Just normal expectorations. That was a time when I did’nt know the true role of police who’s first priority is to protect government first, females second and males if they must. Now I tell my children, be weary of the police. They are not your friend. Don’t get involved or assist them.

I truly believe people who work as police see these inconsistencies (a polite way of saying liar) are soon disillusioned. Left to either fit in, stay employed or leave. Maybe thats the reason why police struggle to keep staff. God only knows what would happen to a policeman who turns on another policeman. Interesting to hear deathbed confession. Would that even matter say 50 years later?

Regarding our nations beloved Tom Phillips. The police will once again be stuck in a hard place with Toms child witnessing who shot first.

The family court is dysfunctional. Someone simply does not own someone’s property just because they moved in. Just because they alienate children. Just because they don’t want to work and save. Just because the ministry for women says so.

This is why women can’t find long term relationships. Off to work you go women. No baby, family or loving husband for you.

  2. Does the Phillips child at the scene have a totally different account of what happened at the shooting? Enough for the family to want this truth to prevail?

  3. Another cop cover-up like the one in Invercargill years ago when Paul Holmes was on his way to investigate. Cops managed to shoot the perp. before Holmes could get there to interview him.
What was the perp’s complaint? Why was he holed up and armed? Did NZ ever find out or was he shot before he could speak?

Pretty traumatising for the Philips kids having their father shot!

  4. Did the cop shoot first? The police were quick to release the photo of the police car with bullet holes in the windscreen.. But the holes don’t look like a directed attack but a defense… Did Tom move out from the ATV into the police headlight to protect his child?

  5. Tom is to blame in all this. You can’t take yours kids into hiding for years and use their help in criminal activities over a custody dispute.

He probably shouldn’t have been killed, but, if you carry guns it should not be unexpected.

Sorry for the kids and the family.

On another note, Dentons lawyer Linda Clark being involved is interesting. The same lawyers that advised Ashley, Jacinda and Chris about not appearing at the public inquiry into the covid response is representing the Phillips family.

  6. These are very good looking children and it is their safety and physical and mental wellbeing which is on the line. They are old enough to be have a say about who represents their interests and this should be taken into consideration.
