California Democratic Rep. Brad Sherman is pushing back after photos spread widely online showing him staring at his tablet on a commercial flight while images of scantily clad women appeared on the screen.
The viral post, which racked up more than 12 million views, accused the 71-year-old congressman of watching pornography mid-flight.
Sherman flatly denied the claim, saying the images came from X’s “For You” algorithm — not anything he searched for — and blamed Elon Musk’s platform for surfacing unsolicited content.
“This was nothing more than scrolling through Twitter,” his spokesperson said, adding that the algorithm now delivers posts users never asked to see.
Sherman told Punchbowl News he had been flipping through a variety of posts during the cross-country trip and admitted that while the content “wasn’t appropriate,” he did not consider it pornography.
The controversy sparked immediate reaction online, with Donald Trump Jr. posting “Yikes!!!!” before Sherman responded by editing the viral image to show his tablet reading “Release the Epstein files.”

A congressman looks at a few pictures of scantily clad women and he gets called out.
Compare that to Mc Swimming who:

– was supported and covered by Police Commissioner Coster.
– was moved to a CEO position wothin Nicola Willis portfolio.
