A Sikh parade in South Auckland was blocked after a group of young men from Destiny Church performed a haka and displayed protest banners.
The incident took place in Manurewa, where members of the group stood in front of the parade and chanted religious slogans, including “Jesus, lord of our nation”. A banner held by protesters reportedly read “This is New Zealand, not India”.
In a social media post, Tamaki praised the group’s actions, claiming they were peaceful and involved no violence or rioting. He said the haka was used as a symbolic challenge and described it as a “line in the sand” over national identity, culture and religion.
Tamaki alleged that parts of Manurewa were shut down for hours during the parade and accused Sikh participants of carrying weapons and flying foreign flags.
Tamaki told his followers on social media that New Zealand was a Christian nation and criticised what he described as the growing influence of foreign religions. He also called for “one law, one people, one flag” and promoted a planned protest event later this month, signalling that further demonstrations were planned.

High housing prices, fuel and electricity demand increases, jobs for kiwis go to foreigners, sex crimes and fraud cases explodes, the court system and police time is clogged up with their disputes. Go to any law court in Auckland and you will see 80% of the people there with their family court or business argumentss , a lot of crime were not born here. They are a massive burden on the economy and stuff uo the country for New Zealanders in many ways.
