Witnesses first reported hearing explosions around 1.30pm before a fire started in the basement carpark of the complex.
Several FENZ crews attended the incident.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
Auckland Transport confirmed this hour that the station had reopened, and bus and train services had returned to normal, although delays and cancellations could still be expected.
Remuera Road is now open in both directions. Newmarket Station is also now open.
Buses are now returning to their normal routes, including bus route 75.
