A spate of fatal vehicle accidents in the last 12 hours has left six people dead.

Te Moana Road near Geraldine
Three people have died following a crash on Te Moana Road near Geraldine overnight.
Police were advised just after 1am that a campervan had collided with a barrier and caught fire.
Tragically all three occupants of the campervan were killed.
The road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit works at the scene. Check
Waikato Expressway
Two people have died following a crash on the Waikato Expressway this morning.
Two cars collided on the Expressway just after 4am.
Sadly the drivers of both cars died at the scene.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are under way, however it does appear that one of the cars was travelling the wrong way.
The road is expected to remain closed for several hours and diversions are in place.
Dargaville
A person has died following a crash on Baylys Coast Road, Dargaville this morning.
It appears a single car collided with a tree earlier this morning.
Sadly the sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are under way and the Serious Crash Unit remains on the scene.
The road is expected to remain closed for several hours and diversions are in place.
