Four injured, one critical after late-night altercation in Christchurch

Four people have been injured, including one critically, after a violent altercation at a property on Hoani Street in Northcote, Christchurch, late last night.

Emergency services were called to the address around 9.30pm where they located multiple injured individuals.

One person remains in critical condition, while another suffered serious injuries.

Two others were treated for minor to moderate injuries.



Police have established cordons at the scene as a forensic examination continues, and investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing. Superintendent Tony Hill, Canterbury District Commander said officers are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed events in the area at the time.
